Biography
Gordon M. Carver III graduated from The University of Virginia (B.A. with Distinction 1980) and the University of North Carolina Law School (J.D. 1983). He began his law practice with the Houston firm of Wycoff, Russell, Dunn & Frazier in 1983 as an associate. In 1985 the firm divided, and in 1988 Mr. Carver was made a shareholder of Dunn, Kacal, Adams, Livingston, Pappas & Law, P.C. The firm later became Dunn, Kacal, Adams, Pappas & Law, P.C., then Kacal Adams & Law, P.C., and Mr. Carver remained as a shareholder until 2008. His practice focuses on the representation of healthcare providers, including individual physicians and nurses, hospitals, specialty surgery centers, and blood centers. Mr. Carver also has represented many Fortune 500 corporations in various commercial disputes and catastrophic injury cases.
Mr. Carver is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law, and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He lectures in continuing legal and medical education forums.
