Biography
Matt Henneman is a graduate
of Northwestern University and the University of Texas School
of Law. In 1994, he moved to Houston to become a prosecutor
for the Harris County District Attorney's Office, where he
tried more than fifty jury trials and was the Chief Prosecutor
in several Harris County courts. In 1997, Mr. Henneman entered
private practice as an associate with Taylor & Eggleston
and later with the Houston Office of New York's Kasowitz,
Benson, Torres & Friedman. He has been with the firm since
its inception in January 2001. Mr. Henneman concentrates his
work in commercial litigation, including media litigation,
employment litigation, securities litigation, energy litigation
and personal injury trial law, and has represented clients
in courtrooms in Texas, New York, and North Carolina, as well
as in arbitrations before the NYSE, NASD, AAA, and the National
Arbitration Forum.
Mr. Henneman is a member of the Houston, Texas,
American and Federal Bar Associations, and is licensed to
practice by the State Bar of Texas, in the United States Courts
for the Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas
and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
