Biography
Heather Morlangs focus includes the representation of healthcare providers and blood banks in multi-party lawsuits, including wrongful death and survival actions. She also advises clients on regulatory health law matters that affect their daily practice. Ms. Morlang has appeared before both Texas state and federal courts. Her work has spanned the trial and appellate court levels in addition to the Texas Medical Board.
While attending law school, Ms. Morlang was the Editor in Chief of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy, and received the John B. Neibel Award for Health Law Studies. She also completed internships with the Fourth Court of Appeals in San Antonio and with the Risk Management Office of Baylor College of Medicine.
